Who we are
At Home by Design was founded by Helen McClure, an interior designer inspired by a lifetime of travel to more than 60 countries. She draws on culture, history and nature to create interiors that are both meaningful and beautiful.
Helen believes the most inspiring homes blend old and new, respect heritage while supporting modern living, and take cues from nature’s colours, textures and patterns.
With professional training in interior design, journalism and history, she brings creativity, insight and storytelling to every project.

If you’d like to talk about a project, we’d love to hear from you.
Each project starts with a paid consultation, at the end of which you’ll receive a report full of recommendations and ideas. The consultation fee is deducted from your first bill if you choose to work with us to bring your project to life.
